The SEA Games 2017, officially known as the 29th Southeast Asian Games and commonly known as Kuala Lumpur 2017 (KL 2017) is the upcoming Southeast Asian multi-sport event that will be hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 19th to 30th August 2017. 1. KLCC Petronas Towers

During the annual Thaipusam festival in February, Batu Caves turns into a jam-packed place filled with Hindu pilgrims from all across the country to perform their religious rituals and rites. You’ll find some mind blowing rituals such as body piercing the skin, tongue or cheeks, as part of the offering to the gods.

   

3. KL Tower

   KL Tower is the 7th tallest freestanding tower in the world, the tallest tower in South East Asia and the highest viewpoint in Kuala Lumpur that opens to the public. KL Tower has a 360-degree observation deck and a revolving restaurant, as well as a Sky Box with glass floor extends out at 300 meters high. For those who love challenges, KL Tower hosts the annual KL Tower International Towerthon Challenge where the participants would need to run up the 800 meters hill until the lobby of KL Tower, and then climb the 2,058 steps up to Megaview Banquet Hall located at 288 metres above the ground level. 4. Jalan Alor

   For the foodies, Kuala Lumpur is also well known as a food heaven. If you want to try some famous Malaysian street food such as satay, chicken rice, curry noodle, bbq chicken wings, oyster omelette and rojak, Jalan Alor is the best place to go!
