Bali 105 – Sukawati Market (Pasar Seni Sukawati)

On our day 2 in Bali, we started our day by going to Sukawati Market, a.k.a. Pasar Seni Sukawati. Located in Gianyar and on our way to Ubud from Legian, this market is famous for its cheap handicrafts and souvenirs. It’s not really a big market but with lots of stuff to view and shop, mainly the local handicrafts, accessories, art pieces, souvenirs. We spent about 2 hours there, I didn’t get many stuff there as I was not really in the mood for shopping, but I did  get some good buy on some beaded accessories, i.e. purse,  ring and necklaces for under IDR30,000 (RM10) each. I had my eyes set on some nice painting there but didn’t buy them as the thought of bringing the paintings back was a little daunting. Also like every other cheap markets elsewhere, good bargain skill is really needed in order to get some good stuff there.
